Question for Fitness Models? My question is do you guys jog to get your physique? I mean i heard jogging burns upper body muscle and i know you need a lot of that to be a fitness model so, is hour-long cardio at a slow pace ok? Im trying to become a fitness model and im pretty close, so any advice would be deeply appreciated, thanks. ok, i weight-train 7 times a week, and jog like that 5-6 times a week. Im not an idiot!!
What do you think of fitness models? I've been on www.bodybuilding.com for over a week now, I'm thinking of following the diet and exercise routine that fitness models and bodybuilders do. I like the way fitness models look, others might think they're too muscular, but I'll rather have too much muscle than too much fat. My goal is to get my body fat down to 15 percent, I think my body fat right now is between 25-30, I'm not sure I haven't got it checked, I 'll do that at the gym soon. I read that women's body fat should not go below 12 percent because its not healthy but I see some models and bodybuilders with body fat percentages below 10 percent. Do you guys think that is healthy? Picutures of a fitness model name Ava <a href="http://s436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Washinj <a href="http://s436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Washinj/?action=view&current=figureamerica1.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Washinj/figureamerica1.jpg" border="0" alt="FigureAmerica1"></a> <a href="http://s436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Washinj/?action=view&current=avawins.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Washinj/avawins.jpg" border="0" alt="AvaWins"></a> Sorry, here are the links to the picutures of Ava fitness model. http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Washinj/image001MA12396693-0001.jpg http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Washinj/figureamerica1.jpg http://i436.photobucket.com/albums/qq89/Washinj/avawins.jpg I don't want to get below 15 percent body fat, I just want to be a little lean without too much fat. I do think she is a little too muscular. I think she became this way naturally not through steroids.
why is it rare to be ripped with well developed muscles? (Ripped = low bodyfat and abs and defined muscles but with developed muscles like a fitness model) Why are there so many people who are fat, and the ones who arent fat have pop bellys. The ones who are neither are extremely skinny or skinny with a pop belly? Why arent there any males with mens health cover bodies or ametaur bodybuilding physiques? take a look around outside, no one thinks the body is worth developing into something ideal. why do so few people look after themselves in this manner? why is peoples body put in the back of the line in peoples priorities?
What are some resources for obtaining a male model / fitness model type physique? I am in good shape and actually am considering becoming a personal trainer myself, however I still have trouble obtaining what I would call the "ideal" body, either lifting weights too often and having some muscles become too big in proportion to my body or not lifting enough and feeling a lack of muscle, I am hoping that people on here can point me to some resources to obtain a male model / fitness model type physique.. everything seems to be geared towards bodybuilding which I have no interest in as I don't want to put on weight and become "huge".
How do I get a body like a male fitness model? I am 17 years old, 5'11 and weight 175lbs. I have some fat on me. I want to lose the fat I have and gain muscle. I want to have a 6 pack and huge biceps like the guys you see on the cover of 'Men's Health'. Can someone help me and tell me what I need to do to achieve this. Hello Seagull, Could you put me in contact with your husband so I can get some tips from him.
Is it worth becoming a fitness model? Would you, if you could? I'm not sure about the whole idea of appearing topless in muscle magazines and on the internet etc

I'm a tall and very skinny guy wanting to get a body like a fitness model. Does this workout plan seem right? So I dont really have any fat on me at all, I'm basically just skin and bones. I'm 6'3 and I weigh 150 pounds, which is virtually underweight. I was reading up on workouts in order to obtain that fitness model body type, which is the lean muscular look that shows very defined muscle tone. First off, is someone underweight and tall like me able to obtain the model look? If so, does this workout plan seem like the right way to start taking this? First I seen that there is a "Phase 1" part of the workout that lasts 1 month, dividing it into working out 4 days a week. Top half 2 days and bottom half 2 days. It says that it consists of using 3 sets of 10 reps for every workout I do as it will prep my muscles. Is that necessary for me to do? Then after that there is a "Phase 2" that consists of working out with 3 sets of 4-6 reps for each workout, and it's divided into a 3 day split, in which they say is the muscle mass portion to gain mass. Then "Phase 3" goes back into 3 sets of 10 reps for each exercise, divided into another 4 day split, in wich is supposed to get rid of the excess body fat. Does all this sound like the right way to go about getting that fitness model look?
Non vegeterian fitness model turns veg.. now worried about protein intake ? I am a fitness model and have regular workouts, comprising of both cardio as well as weight training. I have been following a good protein dominant diet for a long time and had amazing results, good muscular lean physique with definition. I was mainly dependent on 16 boiled egg whites , chicken and pulses with couple of whey powder servings for my protein intake everyday. Problem is..... that I have turned vegeterian and I am loosing muscle mass..... I am really worried, what do I eat in my vegeterian diet which will help me keep same level of protein intake without increasing my fat %( as cottage cheese etc. have high fat also) .. will more of pulses increase the bulk and minimize my definition as they have high carb value... do I have to supplement more with whey... I really want to have as much natural foods as possible, but Dont know how I manage this with my veg diet .... Really confused .. Please help friends :)
Will i build muscle and burn fat like this? Ok so right now im 5"10 in height, weight 180lbs, and 21 years old. My bodyfat percentage is a little under 12% and im trying to get it too 6-8%. RIght now here is my weight training/cardio schedule... I jog 6 days a week at a low/moderate pace for 6 miles every day. A personal trainer told me id be burning about 60% fat, 1% protein, and 39% sugar at the pace im going at according to heart rate monitors, that sound like the correct zone? I also weight train 5-6 times a week doing biceps/back, triceps, and chest/shoulders on different days (also abs/legs twice a week). My questions are, should i always eat when im hungry? I recently just lost about >10% bodyfat (in the past 6 months) and gained mostly muscle (i lost only like 8 lbs lol) and im trying to become a fitness model now! My abs are finally showing (in the right light) and im really happy (never accomplished this before). Ive been doing cardio all this time with muscle building but it seems the results are REALLY slow and im doing this 100% naturally, so no creatine/andro invovled, just high protein basically. I just want to know if this routine will work to burn 4% bodyfat, and cause me to gain about 5-10 lbs of muscle. Its just been so slow the past month now and im not really losing much noticeable bodyfat anymore (ya just when my abs start showing). Any advice on what to do differently? Any helps appreciated and i know this was a long post so thanks in advance! thanks charlie, however methamphetamine burns muscle tissue away as well... yep specifically burns muscle tissue, so i cant use it unfortunately :(
Can anyone PLEASE tell me the best muscle building diet? VERY URGENT!? Ok im really trying to become a fitness model right now, its a huge goal of mine and i would do anything to accomplish it. My current weight is 179 lbs, 11% bodyfat, 5"10 and 21 years old. I just want to gain like 10 lbs of muscle and burn off the last 3-4% of bodyfat that i need too but it just seems impossible!!! Ive been training for 6 months and its been a month already and their have been no results past my current stats... I really need to know what to eat, its driving me crazy, so much different stuff on the internet. How many calories to eat a day to burn 3-4% bodyfat within a month or 2 and gain 10 lbs of muscle? How many calories, what fat/carb/protein ratio's? Ive tried all vegetables/protein diets but i see no results with them, tried normal carbs/protein/fat balance but i cant get past these last 5-10 lbs of bodyfat doing this... and i cant seem to gain any more muscle. This is so important to me and i dont have a job right now, so this is basically what im focusing on 100%, i have all the time in the world for this and i need good advice!!! thanks in advance for any answers
Any big (natural guys) know a sure fire approach to building muscle mass? I'm looking for experienced advice that has come from trial and effort, from big guys...not fitness model types, and nobody on or having ever used steroids, as to how you trained from small or average to where you are today....what works? Do you warm up, or not, ....if so... how, and in what number of sets, reps, and weight increments until you max in that exercise....do you warm up for each exercise, or only if it's a completely different muscle group, ie...chest/calves. How many body parts trained each day and how do you group them? How many days did you/do you train per week, and what muscle groups on what days, with what exercises? I'd appreciate any clarification on schedual, routine, and scheme. Thanks
Protein supplements for women's muscle growth ? I have been working out for about 6 weeks now, I have gained some definition in my arms and legs but I have not gotten any bigger or more defined, it just seemed to stop even though I have increased the amount of weights I use. I need to know if whey protein is ok for women to take and if it will really work and if it could have any side effects ( weight gain from fat, hormones, and if it can affect kidneys or the heart since I have problems w/ both) I don't know how much to use or how long to use it. I want to be a little more muscular than most women, but not huge, more along the lines of figure fitness model than bodybuilder.
How to get into porn industry? Okay, I'm a 21-year-old male and i live in the UK. I desperately need some money to pay my university fees. I'm a body builder and everyone says I have an amazing body, like big muscles and toned lol. Anyway, I want to use my body to make money. I'm slowly getting into fitness modelling but that doesnt't pay enough. I was thinking of doing porn or something. How can I get into the business? Do I approach the porn film companies directly or some sort of agencies? Can anyone please explain (if you know) how the whole thing works? Many thanks
How should a girl start body building? I just turned 21 and I'm a college student. I really want to change my life, body, and diet. I want to become lean, fit, and tight. I do workout normally, but usually just cardio. I want to lose body fat and gain muscle, but not like I'm on steriods look. I still want to look feminine, but with muscle. Pretty much like a fitness model. I want to know how I should start out, what supplements and workouts I should do. I currently weigh 160 and I'm 5'6. Yes Amanda Carrier is exactly the body type I am looking for!
Ladies what do you prefer? A. A guy that is underweight but has a nice toned body. example) 5'8" about 130lbs but with a six-pack and chiseled features. B. A guy that is normal size but has a fairly average body. example) 6'1" about 190lbs and no muscle definition but stocky good build. C. A guy that is a workout freak and looks like a bodybuilder. example) 5'11" about 175lbs and 6% body fat so he has muscle definition like a professional fitness model or a bodybuilder. D. body doesnt matter as long as he is not obese. his face and personality matters more. E. his face or body doesnt matter. if i fell in love with him i would love him even if he was 300lbs.

The Male Model body ? Most male models you see seem to be pretty limited in terms of muscle building but instead have a lot of lean muscle and a seriously low body fat count (apart from fitness models of course)..... is there a specific diet these guys have ? or do they follow the females and simply don't eat ??
What can i do to become the measurement 34-24-34? I really want to become a model. My ideal measurements are 34-24-34, I am currently 15 and 5"4 and i have the measurements of 34-28-37... I weight 129 lb but i have some muscles in my thigh and arm area. Please help me burn off some inches and lose some weight. Im thinking about losing 15-20 lb. Please help and please no disrespectful foolishness. Base your answers off of personal experiences and celebrity/model fitness techniques.
Can Someone Steer Me In The Right Direction Please?? Ok I Am 5'5 And I Weigh Like 145. My Goal Is To Gain Muscle, But Lose The Fat. I Am Not Sure How To Quite Go About Doing This. I've Read That It's Better To Concentrate On Only One Of These At A Time. If That's True Then What Should I Focus On First? If I Can Do Both Effectively How Should I Go About That As Well? I Am Going For The Fitness Model/Bodybuilder Look, So Bascially Very Feminine And Sexy Muscle. Anyone Who Is Very Knowledgable In This Field Please Help, I Am Just A Bit Confused On Where To Begin. Oh Yes And I Am A Beginner :)!! If Anyone Has Any Good Advice & Answers They Would Be Greatly Appreciated. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!
Lowering body fat? Im pretty chubby but i have an interest in fitness models. I suppose there an insperation to what i want to transform to. I've been doing weights and resistance training and i can feel im building muscle on my arms but i really want to see some definition. I did ab workouts but they just made my waist bigger since i gotta get rid of the fat layer on top. I go for a run every morning for an hour and do strength workouts around 3 times a week i dont know how long i should do strength training for though. As for diet im trying to lower my carb intake and take more protein. I have oats and milk in the morning so thats my carb intake. For lunch and recess i dont really eat much only a fruit salad or veges then for dinner veges with a source of meat either chicken, fish or beef. Is that alright to eat like that to strip fat to show muscle definition? I thought limiting carbs would help since i found out it turns to sugar.
Help needed in search for optimal workout...? I'm looking to start working out and I'm hoping someone can help me with some conflicts I have. I am 5'3" and I put on muscle pretty easily. I don't want to be big. I realize that people are always saying women can't get big but even Monica Brandt and some of the other fitness models are too big for me. Plus I have short legs and I'm afraid too much muscle will make them look even shorter. I plan to do some exercises like wall climbing, spin class, rowing, etc. I'm wondering with all the variety of things mentioned to the side if I could skip weight training and just do yoga or just weight train once or twice a week. Does anyone know if yoga tones muscles. Any help would be great. I'm so confused. Thank you!!

Do I look better now then I did before? this is my progression pic, The black and white pic is me a month ago. The color pic's are me now! I've been in the gym hard this month. and I still have 20 lbs more muscle to gain.... I thought about being a fitness model. But I know I have to be alot more cut then I am now. What does everyone think?? old pic (1 month ago) http://s604.photobucket.com/albums/tt124/hulk4ever/?action=view&current=sexybw.jpg new pic (current) http://s604.photobucket.com/albums/tt124/hulk4ever/?action=view&current=marcusbigger2.jpg new pic 2 (current) http://s604.photobucket.com/albums/tt124/hulk4ever/?action=view&current=marcusbigger1.jpg
What is better? More cardio or more weights? Im female 21, 163cm tall, 51.1 kg. I am slim and look fit. But i want to get my muscles showing. I do weights 3 / 4 nights a week and cardio about 6 days a week. But trying to do cardio twice a day and sometimes 3 times a day. What do you think? Im have a lot of ecess fat on my but and arms and little bit on my stomach. I want to get rid of this to eventually do fitness modelling.
Can someone tell me whats going to happen in 2 months? PLEASE? Ok right now im at 11% bodyfat, 178 lbs, 5"10, age 21. I do cardio 6-7 times a week (i also add in HIIT sessions during 2/6 cardio bouts) and run 6 miles at a low-moderate pace (my target heart rate zone) to burn about 60% fat, 1% protein, 39% sugar during the jog. I weight lift 5-6 times a week doing biceps/back, chest/triceps and shoulders/lower back. I also squeeze in full lower body workout (legs) about once a week and abs twice a week. Nothing anyone says will break me from this workout routine and im commited to stay on this. So far ive went from probably 20%+ bodyfat to my currrent 11% and built much muscle. (went from benching 225 max at 193 lbs... to 285 1 rep max at 178 lbs. This is 6 months later now and ive been doing this "serious" routine for about 2 months now. the past 4 before that i was just working out but not doing varieties of exercises like i am now and not as seriously. As far as diet, i eat whenever im hungry and i know when to stop eating. Some days i eat probably only 2000 and other days 3000 i know i dont break over 2500 calories a day usually, and i only eat nutritious food, about 50% protein, 30% carbs (before workouts mainly) and 20% fat. Right now my abs show in the right light, like a slight six pack, however i want more lean mass to look like a fitness model basically, as thats what im trying to become for now. Can anyone PLEASE tell me what you think my... bodyfat % will be in 2 months from now? how many pounds of muscle ill gain? and how long before you think il be able to audition for becoming a fitness model? I really want a defined six pack and im SO CLOSE, ive never had one before and im really excited, so any advice will be awesome. thanks in advance for any answers
Which Body Type Looks Best? One of my contacts and I are discussing body shape, so would you please pick the body type(s) that you find most pleasing? EDIT: For those saying I picked a bad picture for thin, that was sort of the point. There's a difference between skinny and thin. Thin people are something that the fitness industry refers to as "skinny-fat," or "looks great in clothes, looks like a blob of dough in a bikini or naked." Thin people aren't thin because they exercise (otherwise they'd be fit), and they aren't scrawny enough to be "skinny." They're in between skinny and average, keeping them smaller but with a higher body fat percentage than one would assume. The person in the picture here is Mischa Barton, an actress. Here's how she looks in regular clothes: http://thejournalista.files.wordpress.com/2009/03/mischa_barton.jpg She also has cellulite, seen in a bikini: http://www.usmagazine.com/files/mischa-barton-b.jpg And also seen in regular clothes: http://news.makemeheal.com/images/mischa-barton-cellulite1.jpg That's why I encourage people to actually exercise instead of manage their weight with diet alone.
Why are big/overweight people able to bench press so much? I dont mean to offend anyone over-weight or big (not lean/cut). My question is why are over-weight and big people able to bench press so much more then toned/cut guys who even look kinda bigger? Ok theirs a few guys at my gym, they sortve have male fitness model physiques (6-pack, able to do tons of pull ups, and big/toned arms). Currently i weight train 5-6 times a week and do a cardio for an hour a day to lose bodyfat after weight-training. i workout seperate muscle grps 5-6 days a week. I am at 12% bodyfat at the moment, im 21, 5'10 and weigh 180 pounds. My max bench press is 285 (1 rep) and these fitness model types i see at my gym that are a tad more toned then me, seem only able to bench that much too. But then i always see these big/puffy guys who bench like 245 10 times with ease. I know its the fact theirs muscle underneath the fat. But i would like to be able to bench atleast 315 (30 lbs more then current max) so any advice on how to increase my bench NATURALLY would be appreciated. Basically my question is WHY is it that BIG/OVERWEIGHT people are able to increase their bench SO MUCH FASTER then lean/cut people? i just want to know because its frustrating to see random people bench SO much more then me when i work SO MUCH HARDER at it. thanks in advance
I'm a man and have been offered to do some modelling job for fitness products and...? But i do need to have a portfolio with professional pictures. All the photo studios offer just the set and the photographer of course. Where can I find some tips and ideas about how to prepare myself at the best? ...I know that professional models usually go on special diets before shooting pictures so they can have more muscles definition, exercise with light weights to pump themselves, use body oils etc, and girls of course have make up, tanning sessions and hairdresser. I cannot bring much stuff to the studio (expecially dumbells...).
Can anyone tell me the difference between doing aerobics+weight lifting and only weight lifting? My question is, can anyone post links about tests or studies being done about the different results of people who do weight-lifting AND cardio/aerobics, VERSUS people who only do weight-lifting? Im asking because i want to know what the differences were in their gains? Currently i do lightly jog about 5-6 miles 4-5 days a week to burn off fat, and i weight train 5-7 times a week (diff muscle grps) to gain muscle, however i dont seem to be getting that big for how much I work out. im 179 lbs, 5"10, and 21 years old. I almost have a 6-pack and can see indentations in my abs, in the right light (11% bodyfat). And a totally visible 6-pack is my huge goal so i cant stop the cardio! By the way im doing this to become a fitness model so, if anyone has any tips on how i could change my workout to achieve this, it would be deeply appreciated. Thanks in advance.
building big muslces? why is it so hard for girls/women to get big muscles. i'm having heaps of trouble!! espacially in the legs, abd, and arms. pleeease, can someone tell me how i can get bigger muscles. i will do anything! protein shakes, programs. ANYTHING! I really want to be an athlete when i'm older, so i want to be pretty well built. 2 hour weightlifting 5 days a week?? and if i do do this, should i use whey? Please help me! http://media.photobucket.com/image/girls%20with%206%20pack/slivki/1227616413_1-3.jpg the arms of the chick on the left, and the abs of the chick on the right?? is this possible, and how long do you think it would have taken them to get like that. How long do you think it would have taken to get a body like this... http://www.shapefit.com/fitness-models-diana-chaloux.html it's the same chick. so yeah, please help. i need to be really well built before april next year? thanks all. :) x
Can you rate how muscular you think i am from 1-10? Just rate from 1 to 10 how much muscular you think i am. (with 10 being a very strong fitness model, 5 being a normal person, and 1 being a anorexic person) And tell me what you think i should work on. And please, honesty is appreciated, thank you. I weigh 180 lbs, am 5'10, age 21. Do you think itd look better if i gained or lost weight? still too much fat (at 12% bodyfat, going for a 6-pack atm) on me? Should i get more chest or arm muscle toned? Just any suggestions for improvements are needed, thanks in advance. http://s847.photobucket.com/albums/ab36/gooseguy312/ sorry typo, can you rate how muscular you think i am* thank you for the honest answers, very much appreciated
Do you like a guy who? Eats very healthy? Someone who cooks his own food because he needs nutritional foods rich in protein and carbs to build lean muscle? Someone who never eats junk food or adds anything on his food? I workout and I look more like a fitness model or trainer than a bodybuilder and with my busy school schedule I cook a lot of full meals which are healthy and bring it all to school and eat at specific times and a lot of girls comment me on it and I'm not sure if it's a good thing or bad because they ask things like "why do you only eat this or that?" or "Do you eat fast food too?" I'm just curious
If I'm a tall and ectomorph guy, what would lifting 3 sets of 10 reps per exercise do for me? Will that help me build any muscle at all by doing 3 sets of 10 reps for each exercise? I hear that that is a good range to build muscle if you are a beginner. I'm shooting for the fitness look (or the model body-type).
Need to Lose body fat %, I'm at a plateau? If you are a personal/ fitness trainer or a fitness competator/model please give me your advice. I am 5'2" at about 105-106 with 22% body fat.. I strength train every other day... cardio once a day generally walk/jog... however to run on the ground strains my arches and hips so I can't keep the intensity up. I would use a treadmill or eliptical trainer however I can't afford a gym membership right now. My goal is to maintain my weight but be at 18% body fat or so. I would have great muscle definition if I could burn off some more body fat. I eat very healthy and drink water all day. Thank you so much for your time! I don't think I am fat, I eat small mealls through out the day, I chase my son around the house and yard, sports with friends and such but Im thinking I want to learn how to lean down for say fitness competition or fitness modeling. i am female O and I am 26
Is my boyfriend a chubby chaser? I'm above average in looks and I've worked as a model. However, I stopped because of my weight. I've always been thicker built with dramatic curves and muscles. I'm 5'5" and I fluctuate between 145 and 150 pounds. My boyfriend is gorgeous. He works out all the time and when we met, he was a fitness model. I know I'm bigger than average, but everytime I mention losing weight, my boyfriend is really against it. Even though he watches what he eats and works out like a madman. He says he's mad about my curves and loves my body how it is. I thought he was just being nice so I wouldn't feel bad, but he's been so insistent that I'm actually worried that if I lose weight, he won't be as attracted to me. I asked him point blank if he liked fat girls and he said no, its disgusting but that skinny girls are equally disgusting and he likes my body. (if i gain a pound I'll be medically overweight) What should I do?
Will I Be Covered? OK, when I was about 10-12 years old, I was a little on the chubby side. Now I'm 15, with a changed look. Muscles and all. The only downside is that I developed stretch marks around my shoulders, lower and middle back. I know that is common for weight lifters, and that's not a problem for me. It's just that I want to be a fitness model and I don't know if these marks would interfere with my being accepted by an agency. The question is, are problems like these covered up and forgotten about?
I feel like I don't have time to workout! 10 points best answer? I'm a 20 year old female, 108lbs/ 5'2. I try to keep in shape but lately I haven't had any time to exercise... I'm noticing that my muscles are really tight because I haven't been stretching or anything like that, I get out of breath more and more easily. I used to be in fitness-model shape and now I'm not gaining weight but I'm losing the toning that I used to have. I go to college more than full time and work 34 hours a week. After school or work I usually have some social agenda, usually one date a week and seeing friends about 2-3 times a week. I try to do most of my homework and reading at school during the breaks between my classes but I usually still have about 2 hours of assignments when I get home. I have one day off from both work and school a week and I usually end up using it cleaning my place and taking care of errands, doing some homework and having some down time to just watch a movie and relax and I don't really feel like working out. I want to join a gym but I don't have the money or time to drive there. The gym at college is really really small and always really busy. I try parking on the opposite side of campus so I have about a mile long walk. What should I do? My schedule next semester is going to be even more busy...
What do you think of thinspo...the pro thinspiration sites out on the web? I have really been keeping myself motivated to keep dropping my percentage of body fat and get very lean....I am really starting to look awesome in the mirror...the thinspo sites have really helped me to get where I am at...and now seeing such progress I am def going to keep it up...it won't be very long and I'll look like a fitness model (btw I am not trying to get skin and bones, just super lean/low body fat...I exercise a ton...running and lifting so I have good tone/muscles)...just curious what others think of the thinspo sites out there???
Daily fitness for girls, please help?!? I was wondering what kind of exercises I should do everyday to keep in shape. I quit doing sit ups and all cause I don’t want a lot of muscle on my stomach. I’d like to have a nice, toned stomach like models to…kinda. ^^; I just want a flat stomach. But I try to walk everyday, but sometimes I cant and when I do, its either 15 or 30 minutes…-.- I need to know what kind of exercises to do indoors! D: I’m a teen girl, if that helps. I tried looking up on the internet, but all I find is stuff for adults or books to buy…… :?
fitness ppl, help please 10 pts? I want to get toned legs and I'm having a really hard time. I've tried exercising but I build muscle really fast so after I ran for three days my legs bulked up. Ugh. There's nothing wrong with muscular legs, except I'm a slim person and a girl and I think it looks weird on me. What exercises do you suggest for me? Ones that'll get my legs toned (like the VS models) but not bulky and muscular I want to get toned legs and I'm having a really hard time. I saw my niece on an "amateur" porn site this morning...what should I do? I got up early to workout and was drinking my pre-workout drink and cruisin the net (looking at girl fitness/body builder models) on yahoo video and saw a small clip of a blonde girl that looked like my niece but I never dreamed it was, so I clicked on it and it was def her (She's 19 and lives in another state, she's a freshman in college) with an older muscle guy (I'd guess he was like 35ish...it was 100% explicit...I followed the link to an amateur girls porn site...she did everything and I have to admit she was super hot (I've always known she had a killer body)....but that's for another story...anyway what should I do? BTW I am married and she is my wife's brother's daughter....so she isn't my blood niece...so should I just keep my mouth shut (I don't want to get her in trouble and I'm not real keen to get myself in trouble either...ya know? But part of me feels like I should tell my wife...any suggestions?

Psycology of being an ectomorph body type? I recently learned about ectomorphs and saw that i was one. Then i read the way ectomorphs act and there mooods and it fitted exactly why do you think this is? Ectomorphic body type -- The physique of an ectomorph is centered around the brain and nerves. These people are slim and possibly underweight, and will often have a hard time gaining weight and building muscle mass (in our modern times, with the emphasis on physical fitness and muscularity, this has given rise to the notion of the "hardgainer" training methodologies which do have anecdotal evidence that the physiology responds to different training but can be overcome). Stereotype: the ectomorphic person is likely to have a cerebrotonic temperament and could be described as artistic, sensitive, apprehensive, introverted, socially restrained, and highly self-aware. Examples of ectomorphs would be marathon runners, fencers, swimmers, some basketball players, and female fashion models.
Can anyone give me a few pointers on weight gainers and muscle-building products (creatine, glutamine etc.)? Background: I'm 39 years old and have always been about 130 pounds, with a lean runner's build (although I don't run). I've worked out at a gym for about six years, always with the goal of just staying fit and toned. Lately, I've thought: Hey, why not try to add a little bit of muscle? So now my goal is to add eight to 10 pounds of muscle mass, which I don't think is TOO ambitious. I've already started increasing my caloric intake from food, and I'm stepping up the intensity of my lifting. But I've also considered adding the component of muscle gainers (NOT steroids). I'm a novice on that front, though, and have a few questions. Can anyone help? (Oh, also: I'm already taking whey protein shakes after workouts) 1. Based on the background details, are there any products you'd particularly recommend? I work out at 24-Hour Fitness in Dallas, where they have all sorts of stuff, like CytoGainer, BSN TrueMass, APEX Volumizer, Glutamine powder, Muscle Milk etc. 2. If I used any of these products and achieve my goal and am happy with the results, can I phase out the products (because wow, they are expensive!), or do I have to keep taking them to preserve the muscle gains? Once I acquire the new muscle, are there alternatives to the products that would allow me to keep the muscle? 3. Is it true that some of these products cause bloating? While I'm no model or super athlete, I do have nice abs that I'm proud of, and I wouldn't want to run into a permanent "bloating look" that would ruin that appearance. Is the bloating temporary? 4. I am only able to work out 3 to 4 times a week. Are you required to use most of the products every single day, or could I see results by taking them on workout days only? 5. If I can only afford one or two products, what would you recommend? The CytoGainer appears to be fairly all-purpose. Thoughts? Sorry for the long string of questions. Thanks for any input!
Health and Fitness question? I weight about 125, I am 5'5" and I'm 17 years old. I have an interview with levi to model jeans and need to loose some weight and gain muscle. The interview is scheduled for sometime in May 2009. I've been working out everyday for a few hours, and I've been eating a lot less and only drinking water. I want to loose ten lbs, and gain some muscle weight, and get better abs. How can I achieve this in 2 months? Is it possible? If i keep up what I am doing will I reach my goal? Also, any good ab workouts??
How can a thin woman really get a six pack? I am 5'10'' 125lbs so weight/fat loss is not a real issue overall. If I do gain weight, it goes straight to my abs so I suppose I would be "apple shaped" if I was bigger, opposed to "pear shaped." (I heard for women its usually the abs or hips) I work out about 4x a week but dont know how much or how long to do cardio (I know necessary to keep the fat off the abs so you can visibly see muscle). I do about 45 mins on eliptical 2-3x/wk. And, how often I should do abs. Every workout? Every other? How strict with carbs b/c I know you have to be if you really want your muscles to show? I'm def not saying I am anywhere close but what do swimsuit models do for fitness and what do they eat? I think my body type is similar and I want to do this healthy but most plans I find are for people who want to lose weight. I just want to tighten and tone. And, I'm not trying to be Miss Olympia.
I need a fitness expert to make me as fit as Miley Cyrus.Best workout plan 10 points!HELP!? This is the pic. http://www.jessicastyle.com/riding-bike-in-toluca-lake-september-28-2008-sp15426-full.html You have to wait for it if you have a slow internet connection. I am 15 almost turning 16 and underweight.I am like 90 pounds. When i say i want to be fit like her,i don't mean i want to be exactly like her and be a copy cat.I just like the way she is fit and she is my role model. Please don't tell me she is a slut and crap like that.Be mature.I am just looking at her physically.I am as skinny as when she started Hannah Montana. She was very skinny at that time and i am still like that.I don't know what to do.I eat.,although sometimes i skip breakfast and don't eat to much of lunch because school food stinks.I just want to be as fit as her on this picture. She is skinny but in a healthy way. Please help me with easy workout plans that doesn't involve going out to the gym.Plus how many times i should eat, drink, times i should sleep etc...I have 1 week break next week.I want to see small differences by the end of a week plus in how many weeks will i see the complete difference. It usually works in 6 weeks i think. I have skinny legs, thighs, arms, hands and long skinny neck.I want to build muscle without looking like a weightlifter!HELP!
Help me develop a Fitness Program, pretty please.? I want to become toned and lose some weight. Currently I am of normal weight around 170lbs and 6'1" tall, but heavier than i would like to be. I am very weak and have no muscle at all, yet I play 2 sports. I really need to have strength training in order to excel. I also have so much potential at becoming a model (as I'm told) not that I believe them, but anyways. It would be nice to succeed at that, and in order to do so, I have to lose weight. PLEASE i don't know where to start in developing my own program. I would like for it to have quick results, like maybe by the end of the summer.
HEY All of you cool fitness trainers and experts! I have a question about you and all that knowledge..lol? I love fitness, and nutrition, and working out, and muscles, and just being healthy. I am only 15, I I would really love to get a minor in this area when I go to college in a couple years. I want to learn as much as I can NOW, so whats a good way to get a "leg up?" What can I do/read to learn what I can and be knowledgable? I LOVE health and fitness! Thanks so much people! God bless you! PS My role model (other than Jesus) is Jillian Michaels. She rocks. And I am a lot like her.
How can I get slender arms and legs without the bulky muscles? I'm about 5' 7'' and weigh 138 lbs. I want to get more toned and slender arms and legs (thighs, especially) and I always hear that cardio is the best solution for this. But when my friend started doing cardio (4x a week, 30 minutes a day) and working on the elliptical machine, she definitely got very firm thighs and calves, except they became way muscular and bigger. I don't want that to happen to me when I start doing regular cardio and such. Has this ever happened to anyone? Any tips to avoid the bulky muscles? And also, I read an article about the Victoria's secret models, and their fitness routine. Most of them do lots of cardio, and yet they still have slender legs and arms!
Sexual objectification: whose responsibility is it? Suppose I started regularly showing up to work and casual situations in attire very clearly tailored to show off my muscles and sexual organs (say, knee-length spandex shorts that are particularly tight around my genitals so that their shape is clearly visible, and a thin shirt that's equally tight and perhaps very close to sleeveless so that the shape of all of my upper body is clearly visible). Now, there have been some interesting things suggested recently, which would imply: A) I have the right to wear whatever I want at all times - anyone who suggests that I have to dress differently for work, for instance, is a sexist pig, and B) Everyone should find this completely unremarkable. Anyone who feels the need to comment on it and/or doesn't take me seriously needs to control themselves (what, would they have me in a burka instead?). Now, this seems a little odd to me. While I do hold myself to the "look good naked" model of fitness and physical maintenance and am not ashamed of any part of my body (with many parts actually being testaments to my perseverance and competence with respect to physical training), I believe that there are times when it's appropriate to flaunt it and times when it's not, and that the latter type is actually much more common. My wardrobe reflects this - most of the shirts that I own, for instance, completely hide the fact that I have developed abs, pecs and shoulders, and nothing at all in my wardrobe is designed to advertise the shape of my sexual organs. But apparently I should retool it, with an emphasis on spandex and codpieces, since it's apparently my prerogative to dress however I want and everyone else's prerogative not only to "control themselves," but to act as though there was nothing ridiculous or obviously hypocritical about the way I've dressed, and to not make note of it or adjust their consideration of me in casual or even business situations. So is it true? Do I need to 'modernize,' and dress like a gay pride parade at work and in ordinary social situations, in the recognition of my right to do so and everyone else's obligation to take me seriously? Or should I somehow take responsibility for the implications of how I dress? (Bonus question: do some people wish to apply a gender-based double standard to questions such as these?) Gloria: My question isn't 'leaning' at all - I'm simply attempting to apply the philosophy that I should be free to dress how I please without being objectified. I suppose it's possible that my question has sparked a thought in your head that you'd prefer not to address, which might prompt a knee-jerk response to call me uneducated and turn on your heel - but that's hardly my responsibility to prevent, is it? I'm simply asking whether I should modernize my wardrobe to reflect the fact that I shouldn't be afraid of others' sexual objectification and allow it to affect my daily attire. "...have nothing to do with the the subject of sexual objectification in advertising." Oh, never mind - I see what the problem is. You'll want to shut your monitor off for a second, and clean off the "in advertising"-shaped piece of dust on it, and you might find that it's much easier to understand the question. Lucy Lu - So, so far we have "you're stupid" and "you're ugly" as dissenting opinions. Can't say I'm terribly impressed by the counterargument thus far. Oh good, my "I don't want to answer the question" troll is back. Word of advice - if you're going to try to dissuade others from answering the question based on a prediction that no one will answer it, you'll probably want to jump in before the 5th answer next time. Incidentally, I have to comment that you're slipping a bit in your desperate speculation that there must be something wrong with my life or inaccurate about how I portray myself. While hoping that there are deep problems between myself and my fiancee is creative, in speculating about that you draw back from your speculation that I'm a woman, or alone, or gay (though you seem to be clinging to that one a bit, merely scaling it back to 'secretly gay'). I have to say, I'm a bit disappointed - you couldn't be bothered to imagine something that didn't require you to withdraw earlier speculations? I thought you were a better troll than that :)
are tall girls only considered "hot" if they're model-skinny? I'm 5'9" (34C-31-37) and a rower at USC, so I'm very athletic. Because of my fitness level I am toned and attribute my weight to the fact that muscle weighs more than fat (though I am still 170 lbs.) I have heard that men like tall girls, but only if these girls are skinny like models so I was just wondering if tall, toned girls are considered attractive too, or just intimidating. Thanks!

can anyone help draft a data model that outlines a database management system.? Your data model will need to track people's participation in various fitness activities at a fitness center. for example , you could track member usage of free weights, muscle strengthening machines, racquetball courts, swimming pools, aerobic classes. Drafting a data model initially involves identifying entities and attributes that forms the structure of the database. Create a table using the entities and attributes that you want to use and list at least 3 entities and at least 4 attributes for each entity.
Any helps appreciated and i know this was a long post so thanks in advance!
when do muscles get excessive on a guy? I know women hate huge bodybuilders or whatever. but what about fitness model types like say 180 - 200 pounds? very lean but not crazy, still has a neck. No crazy veins, say 16 17 inch arms I see some girls saying they hate muscles, but every club I go to, many of the hottest women are with "big" guys.
WWE Signs Fitness Model? WWE signed Zivile Raudoniene to a Contract. I just saw pics of her- She has a lot of muscles, just like Chyna. Do you think WWE will make her the next Chyna?
Just any suggestions for improvements are needed, thanks in advance. http://s847.photobucket.com/albums/ab36/gooseguy312/ mathew youre a god dam retard for even suggesting that! why would i have a problem with my body??? just because youre some fat lazy fast food slob who spends all day ranting on YA, it doesnt mean u must take it out on me

Will I see results with this prearranged workout for Navy Basic? I am in DEP currently awaiting my departure to Navy RTC in the end of March of '09...For the past week I've developed a resolute workout schedule that is modeled after my DEP book fitness schedule...the workout is everyday and entails: -Stretching muscles before the run -1 mile run @ my own pace -2 reps (repetition) of 20 push-ups -2 reps of 30 sit-ups I will EVENTUALLY grow accustomed to the workout and I'll raise my stakes in the workout...from 20 push-ups to 30 to 40 and so on and so forth... Will I see results with this workout schedule and will I work up to more push-up/sit ups or should I stack more??? I acknowledge this should be a fitness question but it's in the military field so that's where I'll put it...thanks I acknowledge that a lot of my DEP "Shipmates" are just sitting around doing nothing...but there are some that are progressing in exercising... I will increase my reps from 2 to 3...I can feel the workout when I'm doing the push-ups but within 5 minutes the painful feeling is gone which probably isn't good..."No pain, no gain", right? Thank you
Is this right for achieving a bruce lee body or not? If not please help.? Hey guys, I was thinking of a workout plan that i could include in my schedule of exercising and it allows me to weight train 3 times a week which i can do. I am 5 ft 6 1/2 inches and i weigh approximately 62-63 Kg (about 139 pounds)....I'm fairly skinny and i have a bit of muscle and i eat alot and i am extremely healthy. I'm 18 and lucky for me i can eat so much and i cant really put on weight i've tried but it doesn't happen. Anyways i don't want to get bulky as i am a martial artist but i can see my biceps round instead of cut. I do alot of fitness but have stopped for 3 weeks because of my studies. OK here is what i have in mind, If i was to do 1 day a week muscle building with max weights and 2-3 sets of 6-8 reps and the other 2 days i do 3 sets with lighter weights at 15-20 reps would this be something that wold get me cut. As you can see i have a vague idea of what needs to be done but still i need some more guidance one how to get a legends body such as Bruce. I don't want it to happen straight away i want to work at it cos if you have no idols in life or no goals to shoot for you can't get anywhere. Also getting very dense marble like muscles again staying lean and cut like bruce and not bulky like those male models you see in calenders what can be done. Please if you can help me this would be extremely appreciative and i would be forever grateful. Thank you
Will i build muscle and burn fat like this?
I need help bad! I don't understand anything in software and such!? Draft a simple data model that outlines a database management system. This data model is for your final project and needs to track people’s participation in various fitness activities at a fitness center. For example, you could track member usage of free weights, muscle strengthening machines, racquetball courts, swimming pools, aerobic classes, etc. Drafting a data model initially involves identifying entities and attributes that will form the structure of the database. Please create a table using the entities and attributes that you want to use in your final project. List at least 3 entities and at least 4 attributes for each entity.
Nick Carter fans only!? ok, so nick decided to slim waaay down, and i think he looks better than ever. he is one of my role models and crushes. do u think he looks amazing? see the new and improved nick for urself: http://www.people.com/people/article/0,,20257161,00.html im eating super healthy just like him and am in a swim fitness class and play dancedancerevolution every weekend. i already have a 2 pack from just a month of swimming, and if my body continues to take all of theis in good stride, ill look amazing by summer! not to brag or anything. im super skinny, but im not toned, so thats what im doing. im making up for the loss of body fat with muscle mass. so, ya. i think nick looks smokin hott and sexy!!!
Question about my calorie intake and fat loss? Help? First of all, I'm 16, 5'4" and (at this exact moment) 108.2 lbs. I like my weight, and my B W H numbers are 32 - 25 - 34, with a Waist-Hip ratio of .74, which I am pretty happy about. My real problems are the fact that despite how little I weigh, my body actually has a lot of fat on it, and I feel like a lot of my recent weight loss (I used to be 125 lbs a few months ago) may have been muscle mass and fat. The widest part of my thighs measures at 21", and I really wish they were around the 18" area instead because they jiggle a lot and it makes me self conscious. To lose fat, I do push ups/squats/crunches/dance almost every day, and I plan to cut my calorie intake by about 500 calories to equal 1 or so lbs lost per week. The problem is, since my weight is so low right now, my BMR is pretty low, and says I only need to eat about 1000-1200 calories a day. Using the advice on healthy weight loss I've learned from a ton of fitness websites, I should cut my calorie intake by 500, but this would only mean 500-700 calories a day. Although I envy those stick thin, anorexic models, I would really like to keep my metabolism high. (And when I get high and have massive munchies, I'd rather not gain 3 lbs like I did a few weeks ago) What should I do about my fat loss goal? I would like to run more for cardio, except I have poor bone structure in my legs and tight achilles tendons that always exempted me from running in gym class, and I really don't want to hurt my ligaments and joints more than I already have...
i want to lose weight but i dont want to bulk up. I dont want to have muscles that are out there.? Model skinny...i dont want to have teh body of a fitness trainer all bulky.
Is this a good plan for becoming lean & fit? I'm naturally thin at 5"8' and 120 pounds. I'm also out of shape, what you'd call "skinny fat"—i.e. I look great in jeans, but in shorts or skirts my true lack of any muscle tone is obvious. This summer, I really want to transform my body and fitness level. I don't want any bulging muscle, just that feminine, lean-yet-defined look for my legs & arms. I also want to basically get in shape and stop being tired by 5PM. I want to focus on running since it's simple and convenient. Right now I can barely run a mile without wanting to throw up, so I'll probably start off running a little each day and gradually build time (any suggestions on this?). Will running give me toned legs? I'm not aiming for body builder, just some definition, like a model. How about lunges for helping this? For arms, I have a pull-up bar in my doorway, plus I can always do push-ups. I don't want to gain mass or lose it... basically I want to replace fat with muscle. Any advice? I also have no clue as to diet... should I eat more, less, or the same? I heard protein shakes help.
Work out routines...need to get in shape without....? I need to get in shape without gaining muscle. Like I want to be more skinnier. I have gained weight recently (probably from stress and birth control) and want to loose about 20 pounds and be slim again! however i do not want to be bulky and gain muscle. i used to play basketball all thru out high school but not anymore in college. so i have not been active that much. lol what are some routines i can do? i have access to fitness room at my apartment complex. I mostly want to work on slimming my thighs a lot....my abs....and want to slim my arms(but not build muscle). also on shaping my butt, i dont really mind my butt gettin bigger. my eating habits are better and not bad anymore, i do drink a lot of water too please help me! i need to get back into shape to feel better(miss my old body) and especially for my modeling. (NO I AM NOT DOIN THIS JUST FOR MODELING, ITS FOR MYSELF) also want my waist to get smaller!

What's the most flattering thing you've ever had a stranger say to you? What made me think of this question is yesterday at the book store I am looking at the men's fitness magazines (I had just come from the gym so had on my workout shorts and a muscle shirt) and as I reached to pick one up this girl that was walking behind me said...you look like him...referring to the model on the cover...it kind of surprised me but I got out a hey thanks as she was walking away. After that I could hardly get my head out the door it had swelled up so much...lol...
did kevin sullivan kill benoit? Did Kevin Sullivan do it? The Fallen Angel was his female sidekick who was evil but had model-quality looks. The "Fallen Angel" later became "Woman" and was Sullivan's real-life wife Nancy, who later left him for fellow professional wrestler Chris Benoit Once Sullivan sent Pillman packing, the Dungeon and the Horsemen rejoined forces to get rid of Hulk Hogan and his friends. They brought in The Giant, Maxx Muscle and Big Bubba Rogers to help. They even formed the Alliance To End Hulkamania with the Horsemen in a failed attempt to do so. When they couldn't get the job done, Sullivan and Chris Benoit of the Horsemen picked up where Pillman left off and started a feud. This was a brutal feud and lasted over a year. Benoit stole Sullivan's real life wife Woman from him onscreen and ironically, in real life, too. Sullivan brought in Jacquelyn to help him and also added Konnan to the Dungeon. Sullivan lost a retirement match to Benoit at Bash at the Beach on July 13, 1997. He was already the booker so it gave him more time to do that job. He soon came up with an angle where Woman would be topless on a PPV, but she refused and left WCW. They divorced and she married Benoit. Sullivan is among those blamed for the 2000 departure of Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko, Eddie Guerrero and Perry Saturn from WCW, though by no direct action of his own. After the departure of Eric Bischoff and Vince Russo, the resulting chaos led to Sullivan's promotion to head booker. This move infuriated a number of WCW wrestlers, given Sullivan's history of professional rivalries (notably Benoit) and poor decisions. Sullivan booked Benoit to win the WCW title at Souled Out 2000 in a desperate attempt to quell the uprising, but Benoit, Malenko, Guererro and Saturn would quit the night after, immediately signing with the WWF. Sullivan would be fired before WCW's sale in 2001. Sullivan still makes occasional appearances on the independent circuit, mainly in Florida. He owns a gym in the Florida Keys, called Froggy's Fitness ([1]). On June 25th 2007 Kevin's ex-wife Nancy was found dead in the home she shared with husband Chris Benoit. On June 26th, police revealed that it was the result of a double murder-suicide perpetrated by Chris Benoit.
