Why do bodybuilder and fitness models all look for fad diets and gimmicks that don't work? rather than just eating right and exercising to turn their bodies into fat burning machines, like most (95%) dieter do? Bodybuilders must be really stupid, banging their heads against the wall and never seeing lasting results. Are they blind, can't they see that eating the right foods will always lead to a toned healthy body. All they have to do is look at the super lean bodies of 95% of dieter and follow their eating habits, problem solved.
How do I become a fitness model? How do I become a fitness model? Not a body builder in Oxygen magazine, just like those models in Shape demo'ing exercises.I think it'd be cool to be in Shape or Self magazine to demonstrate exercises. How does one go about doing that?
What do you think of fitness models? I've been on www.bodybuilding.com for over a week now, I'm thinking of following the diet and exercise routine that fitness models and bodybuilders do. I like the way fitness models look, others might think they're too muscular, but I'll rather have too much muscle than too much fat. My goal is to get my body fat down to 15 percent, I think my body fat right now is between 25-30, I'm not sure I haven't got it checked, I 'll do that at the gym soon. I read that women's body fat should not go below 12 percent because its not healthy but I see some models and bodybuilders with body fat percentages below 10 percent. Do you guys think that is healthy? I do think she is a little too muscular. I think she became this way naturally not through steroids.
What are the size requirements for fitness models? Does anyone know the height and weight or body proportions of male and female fitness models? My best friend wants to be a model, but because she is a little thicker and athletic, she wants to do the fitness modeling.I do not want her going in alone though, so I want to know what are the proportions or height/weight of a male fitness model. I also want to know the size/proportions for females, to see if I can use knowledge to talk her out of it. I really care about her, and want her to be safe. I do not understand % body fat math at all. I'm shooting for more of a weight in pounds answer.

Question for Fitness Models? My question is do you guys jog to get your physique? I mean i heard jogging burns upper body muscle and i know you need a lot of that to be a fitness model so, is hour-long cardio at a slow pace ok? Question about fitness models? Here is a fitness model and she says her biceps are 13 inches. Does that mean there are flexed or unflexed 13 inches? Do you think Moms who are fitness models should pose semi nude? Jennifer Nicole Lee is a fitness model and self proclaimed world's fittest mom. On her website, she has forums for moms to discuss child rearing and family issues, but if you go to her gallery, it looks like something in Maxim, FHM or the latest booty shaking video and her MySpace page, forget it, full of sexual, topless & spread eagle poses for my kids, yours and others to see, without any shame. Not to mention the fact that she has photos of her little boys right next to them! Is motherhood still sacred and is she really an example for us to follow? Or is she just another of the millions of exhibitionist with no talent, using surgical enhancement and photoshop techniques to make themselves celebrities? Okay, guys-her body is bad, no doubt-it's her judgement not her tits I'm talking about! And so you know, she ain't the only mama with a flawless and sick body! Why do you think my husband keeps getting me pregnant ?(4 and counting!) Also, maybe if it was your mom guys were beating off to, you'd feel different.
What are some resources for obtaining a male model / fitness model type physique? I am in good shape and actually am considering becoming a personal trainer myself, however I still have trouble obtaining what I would call the "ideal" body, either lifting weights too often and having some muscles become too big in proportion to my body or not lifting enough and feeling a lack of muscle, I am hoping that people on here can point me to some resources to obtain a male model / fitness model type physique.. everything seems to be geared towards bodybuilding which I have no interest in as I don't want to put on weight and become "huge".

Body builders, athletes, fitness models, people in top shape? What do these people eat? I know they eat like 5-6 meals a day, most eat something like a 50-30-20 (50% carbs-30%protein-20% good fats) Although that figure varies greatly. But just assuming that was the percentages they ate, and reading through fitness books this means eating a lean protein with every meal (5-6 meals a day) and a complex carbohydrate and a startchy carb. So what do they eat!? Is there any variety? I get tired of eggs, oatmeal, chicken, and tuna. Eating 5 times a day can get boring.. Any ideas or good books/recipe books out there? Cmon no one wants to eat grilled chicken twice a day everyday and eggs and tuna, etc.. It gets old. I know different athletes have diff needs. Like runners eat more carbs than bodybuilders. I am not looking to be a body builder, I am a women, but I am looking to have a banging tight body. I am not overweight, but my body fat % is what I want to get lower and I want to grow some muscle to sculpt and firm up my body. So I am going to eat and train like an athlete/fitness model until I reach those goals. I just wanted to know if anyone figured out a way to add some variety to foods and still get the proper carb/protein/fat ratios in each day. I'm not a bad cook so I can probably figure it out once I get the whle eating 5 times a day thing down.
What is the strategy behind fitness models working out with really light weights? I've noticed that when I look at workout magazines I'm noticing the guys lifting weights with really really light looking weights. I'm think to myself, Damn I lift way more than what he's lifting so why is his body more defined than mines? I mean I can curl 110 pounds easy at 8 reps a set. Now, I'm looking at this guy in a fitness magazine and he's lifting like about 50 pounds total on both ends of the bar with a 5 or 10 pound on each end. What the hell is that all about? His body is in better condition than mine too I want to add that as well. I thought you couldn't get fat burn from weight lifting with very light weights.

How long does it take to look like a fitness model? About how long if you are training hard & eating right. P.S. I am not overweight. I have been running 21 miles a week and doing weights for every muscle group. I've had a gym membership for almost 2 months and I definitely see major results, I just want to take it to the next level. I think that I will get a personal trainer. AND I've been eating a 20% fat, 40% carb, 40% protein diet.

How much time would you say you have to invest to be in a fitness show? I have had people ask me about modeling before. And just recently had some one make me an offer to help me put together a portfolio and possible get into fitness shows. I probably do not have the kinda time I need. why are alot of gym teachers fat? when there like supposed to b "role models" for physical fitness or w.e my gym teacher tells us to run a mile and the gym teachers fat ass sits in a chair and watches...he tol us to do some fuckin "lance armstrong workout" where u ride on a fitness bike for lik 30 minutes straight...and he just sat in the chair and watched again... the dude is lik 200 sumthin pounds of fat... arent gym teachers supposed to be "fit" and not fat as hell well it woulda kinda help if he got his ass up and ran with us and did the exercise shit with us

21 year old guy pursuing modeling - fitness and workout question? Attention personal Trainers! should I join a gym? I need your advice? Im a 21 year old male, very slim body shape and am pursuing modeling - my body frame is particulalry slim - which is what some agencys seek, but the majority of models *that ive googled* anyway are still slim but toned and defined- how can i achieve that more detailed but not too buff look? should i join a gym? or is it a matter of simple push ups and sit ups - also many of these guys have a medium build upper torso - around the chest area - is that hereditary or does working out accomplish that? Aerobic fitness shoes - should i have the best cushioning I can get? Buying aerobics fitness shoes for step aerobics, dancing etc. Should I buy the most high impact cushioned shoes I can get, or are they inconvenient for some activities? Other advice? fitness model? i've been working to attain my goal of being a fitness model. i've only been training for a month, but i've already started to get pretty solid. i was just wondering if anyone had any advice to help me along the way. tips on how to get my foot in the door, so to speak. also, i have a non-typical body shape. my upper body is small (small A-cup chest), but my lower half is proportionally larger. no matter how much cardio i do, my but and thighs don't seem to get much smaller. they just get more ripped. is this bad? BTW, a FITNESS model isn't one of this stick-thin models in fashion magazines. they're the ripped, totally fit women you see in FLEX magazine, Muscular Development, and those types.
