Are there American female models in Japan?

Ive always wondered that, cause in Japan isn't beauty considered pale and thin? What about curvy full figured tan American girls? No I am not racist lol I just heard from someone that in Japan female models are usually thin and pale.

5. They like the 'petite' look, so curvy is sort of look down upon. Models in any country are stereotypical suppose to be thin, not just Japan. But they are usually just naturally skinny in Japan (not racist it's just what I notice). Of course in Japan they love western idols like 'Beyonce' etc, but not in their own industry...you know? Like I read somewhere that Namie Amuro is like 90 pounds, and she is SUPER popular in Japan. Nowadays a tan look is becoming more known, but it still isn't popular. And in my opinion looks really ugly cuz its so orangey!! haha

7. There are tons of foreign models in japan. Of course, the blond hair blue eyes look is popular with foreign models. There are other races of models in japan though; just not Blacks. If you are Black, you cannot really expect to be accepted anywhere in japan.
8. The Japanese love European models, from eatern Europe in particular. Czech, Hungarian, Ukrain and Russian beauties are very popular. They are so mysterious, cool, and irresistiblly sexy. I have never heard any American models who are popular in Japan.
