Why is vast majority of female catwalk models so ugly and disgusting?

I mean,they look like Aushwitz victims...Is it because female-haters run fashion industry or what? Domo-don't let her if you love her,it will be torture for her,you are right REAL WOMEN HAVE CURVES!!!! dolce-well said :) for all those that say that their primary role is to show clothes,not beauty I say it is a poor excuse because they shouldn't look like freaks just because they want people to look at what are they wearing.

2. No, it is because the fashion designers want the audience to pay attention to the clothing, not the models. If you have a super gorgeous model with tons of makeup on, it seems that you are just paying attention to the face, and not the clothes.
3. No, they literally are just "hangers" for the clothes. They want people to focus on the clothes' styles and whatnot instead of the model. Kind of odd, but true. :/

5. Frankly I think it's women who run the fashion industry. Women constantly feel like they need to be thinner, and these models are the epitome of skinny. An adolescent look is in vogue right noe; lanky, not curvy, small chest... basically the frame of a 12 year old. Kind of sick actually. Most men I know prefer a woman with some meat on their bones. You can't hug a broomstick... which is basically what those models are.
6. It's because they have to be a certain weight to even BE a model. My sister is becoming a model, and she's trying so hard to lose weight she doesn't HAVE. They turn these girls into sticks, and it's horrible. No one looks like that in the real world. No one. Real women have CURVES!
7. Most models aren't pretty 'cause they're just there to show off the clothing.They want you to pay attention to what is being worn and not the looks of who is showing it.Thus,if the model was pretty you would look at her(face) more than what is being worn.
8. Real women have curves? What kind of shit is that?! REAL WOMEN COME IN ALL DIFFERENT SIZES! "No one really looks like that" I am naturally thin, and I have tried to gain weight before, but I fail miserably. I eat about 2000 calories a day, which is the recommended amount by my doctor, and I still don't gain weight! That just proves that all women are unique! Some are thin, some have curves, and some are tall, some are short!

OMG! i watched fashion tv yesterday,thats a tv channel where whole day are just fashion shows from europe: milan,paris,london,rome..... i couldnt believe what i saw! bones where ever you look,legs on x (just shows how skiny are they),and none of them has more then 40 kg! altough i dont know where is this fashion going! i would never wear that what i saw even if they would pay me to do it! (this joke about auschwitz was original...) =)
