How come catwalk models and swimsuit models have weak skinny little bodies?

At least these girls actually go to a gym and more importantly... workout..

god. women like that scare me. i agree that the girls are too small, but they should use normal women. there;s nothing "real" about those ladies.
Im not sure because im not a model but i think it would be because the modeling business looks for that type of girl and there isnt many real strong women who are comfortable with putting on a skimpy bikini and strutting their stuff.
I'm sorry REAL? Those aren't real women, it;s like one extreme to another. I guarantee a large percentage of those body builders use steroids. The same as the runway models don't eat or use diet pills. I doubt anyone would think manly looking body builders would look good modeling a floral dress down the runway.
yah i agreee the skinny anorexic models are trying to hard to impress eeryone and they think they look great but when their modeling coaches tell them they have to lose ten more pounds, then it lowers their self asteem so they great on the runway but pressured to look great bec they know every one will be watching them but most of the time they lower other people self esteem bec ppl want to be just like them, but if u saw them with nothing on, then people would be like ew or wow she is wayy way to skinny. but if you saw the muscular girl you would want to go to the gym more often and finally realize wow their arte alot of diffrent people in the world. no matter if you are skinny or fat, a video game fatty or constintyly at the gym people will start to realize what those skinny models are missing.

Sorry, but 99.9 REAL women who are hormonally healthy do not get muscles like that. The first image I saw was disturbing enough that I pressed back and frowned. Besides, most runway models do eat. There are people in this world who are naturally skinny like that. I know plenty. Those women are not real. They are on drugs. Some runway models do have eating disorders. But not all.
