How did Sports Illustrated do the 3-D portion of the Swimsuit Issue?

I wanted to know how SI handled the 3-D portion of the Swimsuit Edition with their models. Did SI did it themselves or did they hire an outside photographer or company to do it and if so, who did they hire?
